We are welcoming a Sensory Santa to the centre this Christmas.
Between 20th November and 18th December from 4pm-5pm every Wednesday, we will host a free autism friendly grotto where children and adults with learning disabilities or autism can meet Santa in a welcoming and calming environment.
The Sensory Santa Grotto will be hosted within the Sycamore Trust’s Sensory Room, an area that was created to provide families and individuals with autism a relaxing space to use, especially during the busy Christmas period.
All children will be given a Christmas gift and our Sensory Santa is both Autism and behavioral trained, however, spaces are limited during each session.
Please book via telephone weekdays 9am – 5pm on 01708 746529 or at the customer service desk to book your child’s visit.
Only one visit per child will be permitted during the period of us having Sensory Santa so that he can see as many children as possible and we can achieve the overall wellness for the community.
We will be encouraging a donation in return for a visit to Sensory Santa. All donations will be in support of The Sycamore Trust and our charities of the year, Haven House Children’s Hospice and Cancer Research UK.
