Queen of Crime Returns to The Liberty
On Saturday 19th October, Martina Cole returned to The Liberty Shopping Centre for a busy book signing event of her latest novel.
Eager fans got the chance to meet the Queen of Crime Fiction at WHSmith in The Liberty from 12.30pm where shoppers could purchase her new book and have their copies signed by the celebrated writer. Known as the Queen of crime and the biggest selling female crime novelist in the UK, Cole’s new release No Mercy promises a thrilling read.
Cole has a unique and powerful writing style that has repeatedly gripped readers and audiences in the UK as a number of her novels have been adapted for TV and theatre. For over 25 years she has remained the undisputed leader of crime fiction by female novelists, including her most famous thrillers, Dangerous Lady, The Take and Damaged.
One of the first visitors to the signing said of the event: “It was great meeting Martina, I have been a fan of hers for years. I think her books are fantastic! They are real page-turners and keep you gripped from start to finish.”
Her latest novel, No Mercy follows the rise of Angus Davies as he takes over the family business from his mother, beginning a reign of terror in their family run clubs in Marbella. However, Angus has a weakness: his wife and children. As he and his family enter the crime world previously controlled by his infamous bank robber father and mother, Diana, Angus must learn to show no mercy.
