INTERNATIONAL MODEL VISITS FAVOURITE SHOPPING CENTRE FOR THE LIBERTY STYLE WEEK

International model Donna Mcphail, age 22 from Romford came along to give her support at The Liberty Shopping centres Style week and provide us with her top beauty and styling tips.

Donna who grew up in Romford and attended Wykeham Primary school and Albany Secondary school, started her modelling career 4 years ago and is already achieving a success, having graced the pages of top magazines such as Marie Claire and Glamour as well as appearing in the Haute Couture shows modelling garments by Dior, John Galliano, Chanel and Givenchy.

As a loyal shopper at The Liberty Shopping centre Donna commented that she is excited that River Island has come to The Liberty, Romford as it is her favourite shop. Donna who had just come from a casting with Bhs has also modelled for other stores that are based at The Liberty, from H&M, M&S, River Island, Debenhams, Oasis and is currently in the national campaign for Miss Selfridge, which you can see in the window of Miss Selfridge for their current Christmas campaign.

Donna's favourite show at Style week was show 3 - Day wear to Evening wear, she commented " As I am always on the move, I often have to transform my outfits from a day wear look to an evening wear look, so the show was great for picking up tips'.

Before Donna left us at The Liberty to jet off to Paris for her next shoot, she left us with her top beauty tip and Style tips:-

Donna Mcphails Top Tips for The Liberty Shoppers:-

My beauty tip is my must have item, which is Rimmel stay matte face powder from Boots, it instantly revives your face and gives you a fresh look.

Regardless of the season, or the fashion trends my biggest tip is knowing how to dress your best for your shape.

If you are Apple shaped (small bust, carry weight around your middle):- Look for styles that have detailing around the neck, because it will draw the eye away from your problem areas.

If you're Pear shaped (small chest, slim upper body, with larger hips and thighs):- Wear styles that flare out from the waist, as they disguise the size of your hips, bum and thighs. A Line skirts are perfect!

If you have an hour glass figure (narrow waist with wider bust and hips):- Go for dresses that accentuate your curves and choose fabrics that are clingy.

If you have a boyish figure (lacking in curves):- Try styles with ruched details or belts at the waist to help create the illusion of curves.
