SUMMER ACTIVITY IS A WINNER

Kids and parents alike have experienced weeks of Summer fun activities at The Liberty Shopping centre. From a beach resort in the centre, where children enjoyed making their own Summer T-Shirts, face painting, arts & crafts and sampling free milkshakes and cookies, while parents were able to relax on deck chairs and sample free coffee.

Children had the unique experience to rub shoulders with the stars, when they entered the guitar heroes competition and performed in front of Bandslam film star Ally Michalka. Over 1000 people competed in the resistance sliding competition for both disabled and able bodied people of all ages, held by the U.K's first Gladiator winner Weininger Irwin. Football ticket winners were presented their prizes by footballer John Nurse from Dagenham & Redbridge football club.

Whilst the children have been entertained with dance workshops from teachers from Diversity - Britain's Got Talent winners studios, participated in treasure hunts, giant connect 4, football and cycling, parents have been occupying themselves by picking up fashion tips from the weekly Summer style board and Back to school advice and offers.

There is still more fun to come! The finale of the Summer fun at The Liberty Shopping centre will be held on Wednesday 2nd September with Jez'Os Magic and Laughter Show, performances will be held at 1.30pm, 2pm and 2.30pm.

Laura Williams - Event Manager commented "It has been great providing an environment for parents to bring their children to enjoy free activities. The Summer activities have been endless weeks of fun".
