THE LIBERTY IS SPICED UP WITH VISIT FROM GERI HALLIWELL

Shoppers at The Liberty were treated to a taste of Girl Power when Geri Halliwell came to Romford.

Geri Halliwell greeted shoppers during her recent visit to The Liberty shopping centre for her book signing in Waterstones last friday. Geri who has recently written her new book range called Ugenia Lavender which contains 6 titles, signed almost 200 copies and even stayed for an extra 45 minutes so that her fans were not disappointed.

Shoppers began queuing from 9.30am so that they did not miss the former Spice Girl, who's appearance was not scheduled until 11.30am. She was even greeted by a group of die hard European fans from Spain who follow Geri to all of her public appearances.

Jennifer Long, Waterstones Manager, commented ‘Geri had a fantastic rapport with the younger audiences and made time for each individual. The atmosphere in store was very exciting. Book signings are always a nice addition to the centre as it gives people the opportunity to meet their idols.
