A Summer of Fun at The Liberty Shopping Centre
The Liberty Shopping Centre is keeping the children entertained this summer with a wide range of fun activities.
Starting from Monday 29th July, The Liberty will host their Summer of Fun that will feature a mix of great interactive events throughout the summer until Friday 30th August. Parents are invited to bring their children along to take part in fun activities from 11am-4pm Monday-Friday.
Visitors to the centre will also be treated with the return of the Wild Slyde, which proved to be a massive hit last year for children and adults alike. Race your friends down the 13-metre resistance slide in the heart of the shopping centre. With four lanes to choose from, it’s the perfect activity for the competitive family. The slide will be open Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August and later in the summer holidays between Monday 26th – Friday 30th August.
Kids will also be taking over the centre in a series of weeklong workshops where they can pretend they are running a shop. Each week, children can enjoy a variety of roles with themes including fashion, food and beauty. The Liberty Shopping Centre will be offering children an exciting opportunity to be mini managers, security guards and even play at being centre manager.
The Liberty will be offering shoppers the chance to win in a prize draw to receive FREE school uniform for a year thanks to the generosity of Marks & Spencer.
Centre Manager, Jonathan Poole said: “We are looking forward to our Summer of Fun events at The Liberty. It’s so important to keep children engaged and entertained throughout the summer holidays.”
“We hope families will take full advantage of the activities on offer and enjoy the return of the fantastic Wild Slyde.”
